How to Book Nannies for Multi-day Babysitting Appointments
In this article, you will learn how to book Nannies for multi-day babysitting appointments.
Although our service is specifically designed for families who only need occasional childcare, there may be times when you may need a nanny for a series of dates.
For example: Your regular nanny is away or unavailable for one week; You want to schedule some date nights and want to book a nanny for 4 Saturdays in a month, etc.
IMPORTANT: Although we understand that families may find it ideal to have the same nanny for multi-day appointments, this is not necessarily something that our service is designed to provide. You will increase your chances of actually having a nanny for your babysitting appointments by being open to having multiple nannies.
A. To book nannies for your multi-day babysitting appointments:
1. Set up your appointments on the Nannies on Call platform. Leave the box next to "Request the same Nanny for all dates" unchecked, to increase your chances of finding childcare for your appointments. Then click "Next".
2. You can add a note with your appointment in the INSTRUCTIONS box. This is a good place to let the nanny know specific things they need to know and consider for your appointments. DO NOT enter any personal information such as your email, address and telephone number.
Then click POST TO JOB BOARD.
3. Keep an eye on your email inbox! When a nanny requests one or all of your appointments, you will receive an email notification asking you to take action and log into the platform right away.
4. When you log into your account, you'll be able to see your unconfirmed appointments on the left-hand side under PENDING APPOINTMENTS. Each pending appointment will clearly show how many nanny "applicants" have requested your appointment if any.
Below you will see what it looks like when you set up multi-day appointments AND you're open to having different nannies.
5. If you've set up your appointments and are open to having different nannies for your appointments, you can click through each individual date to see which nannies have requested each date. You can then click on the nanny's card to learn more about them.
6. To book a nanny for each of your dates, click on the date to select it and then check the box at the top left-hand side of the nanny's card to select that nanny for the appointment. Finally, click CONFIRM to book the selected nanny for the selected date.
7. If one Nanny has requested all of your appointments, you will be able to book them for all of the appointments at once. Select all of the dates you want to book the nanny for and click CONFIRM.

8. Congratulations! You have confirmed a nanny for your appointments. Check your email to view the confirmation which you will receive automatically.
B. You can choose to request the SAME nanny for all of your appointments but know that doing so will limit your nanny availability.

5. If you find that no nannies are requesting your appointments, it means no one is available to babysit ALL of the dates. In that case, your best strategy is to remove the "SAME NANNY" for all dates requirement so that any nanny that is available will be able to request the date(s) they can babysit.
To do this, click on the appointments' card (located under PENDING APPTS). Then click EDIT. Click REMOVE SAME NANNY REQUIREMENT.
6. To book a nanny that has requested your appointments, log into the platform and click on the appointment card under PENDING APPTS. From there you'll be able to click on the nanny's card to view more information about them and confirm them for your appointments.
7. Congratulations! You have confirmed a nanny for your appointments. Check your email to view the confirmation which you will receive automatically.
