What happens if a client doesn't pay my invoice?

As long as you send out your invoice to the client at the end of each babysitting appointment, you will get paid.

It is definitely preferable for families to pay you sooner rather than later so that you have access to your funds faster.

However, if a family still hasn't paid your invoice 12 hours after you've sent it, then Stripe will automatically charge your invoice amount to their credit card on file.

If for some reason their credit card on file is declined, we will then follow up with the client and ask them to pay the invoice using an alternate card.
