Can I meet the nanny before the day of my appointment?

We have a team of dedicated nanny recruiters who work tirelessly every day to recruit, interview and vet nannies so that when families like you need occasional childcare, they can come to us to set up babysitting appointments and know that the person coming to their home is a thoroughly vetted nanny, not just a random person who says they have babysitting experience.

That being said, with Nannies on Call, families can't meet or interview nannies for their babysitting appointments in advance.

But, as a solution, you could try and book the same nanny for 2 appointments - one as a meet-and-greet, and the second as the actual appointment you need.

A second option is to schedule the nanny to come 30 minutes to 1 hour before you need to leave so that there is ample time for you and the children to get acquainted with them.
