What is the cancellation policy for nannies?

As an agency and service provider, our expectation is that occasional nannies will honour all of their confirmed babysitting appointments. However, we understand life happens, and you may need to cancel due to illness or an emergency.


If you must cancel, you'll need to log into the Nannies on Call platform and cancel your appointment there. Please try to give the client as much advance notice as possible so they have time to find another nanny or make alternate plans.


Remember that when you cancel a confirmed appointment with a family, you'll likely inconvenience them. By cancelling with ample advance notice, you'll demonstrate consideration, professionalism and good customer service.


NOTE: To stay active on the Nannies on Call platform, you can make no more than 3 appointment cancellations. Once you’ve cancelled 3 confirmed appointments, we reserve the right to re-evaluate your performance and fit with our service, which could result in your removal from the Nannies on Call platform.


Therefore, check your personal calendar and appointment details closely, and only request/confirm babysitting appointments you can work.
